Tales of Table Mountain
It’s your city. It’s your mountain. Get lost in it.
This ethereal interpretation of the 7th
World Wonder captured through contour studies in ink will transport you away from your busy life to that place of deep, inner calm we often only find in nature. The aesthetics of this piece strikes that precarious balance between the minimalist and abstract.
This work of art was commissioned by a lovely couple, Bryan & Caroline Begola, while they were visiting their family farm in the Karoo earlier this year. Caroline came across an article about me in the Fairlady magazine and got in touch to have a piece hand crafted for her home in America. It was such a pleasure working on a larger scale for a change and I learned so much about exporting large framed artworks internationally.
I absolutely adore translating your ideas into original artworks seeking an elegant simplicity captured through a series of intricately hand drawn lines. Take a peek at some of my work on my blog, website
